THINGS TO REMEMBER
1. Try to avoid accumulation of water on the rain wear (within folds on the rainwear or at the crotch area on the motorcycle seat), as this might result in ingress of water over time. Smoothening the zipper flaps to avoid folds helps. To avoid accumulation of water on the motorcycle seat (at the crotch area) during continuous rain, standing up intermittently helps.
2. For comfort, the collar on the rain jacket is not designed to be very tight. To prevent water getting in from this area, tucking in the collar properly under the helmet or alternatively using the hood under the helmet helps.
3. You might experience moisture on the inner part of the rainwear caused by condensation due to the temperature differential between the outside atmosphere and your body heat. This is similar to what you can see on a glass of cold water, which develops water beads on the outside. Being a natural phenomenon the same is unavoidable. However this would not be to an extent where you would be completely wet.
CLEAN & CARE:
For dirt and stains, wipe clean with a damp cloth and lukewarm water (DO NOT USE HOT WATER) DO NOT allow your rainwear to come in contact with solvents (do not use fabric softener!), fuel, or cleaning agents. DO NOT use any kind of CHEMICAL or ALCOHOL-BASED product. Do not place your rainwear near, or come in contact with a direct heat source Dry the rainwear on a hanger away from direct sunlight where there is good ventilation. Zippers need to be cleaned and lubricated regularly - you can use Vaseline or candle wax
STORAGE:
Make sure your rainwear is completely dry before you store it on a hanger. If stored wet or in a non-ventilated area as it allows mildew to grow on the fabric causing discoloration and damage
Warranty
Viaterra provide a 6 months warranty against defects in materials or craftsmanship if purchased from an authorized dealer. Biker's Pad is Viattera's authorized dealer.
Repairs
Minor repairs of opened stitches, tears, Velcro etc. due to normal wear and tear can be done at a reasonable charge. Send us an email with pictures so we can determine if the jacket can be repaired or not.
WARRANTY
Biker's Pad is a trading platform for all goods sold both on the web platform and physical store. All warranties on products sold, are directly covered by the product manufacturer and their product specific warranty policy. If there is any reason for the customer to claim warranty, Biker's pad will help the customer communicate as well as claim warranty. However, warranty claim acceptance is the sole discretion of the manufacturer. Customer may have to bear the shipping cost for the warranty claim if not allowed by the manufacturer. Please read all terms and conditions laid down by the manufacturer carefully before making a purchase.
SHIPPING
Shipping is free for all orders above Rs4999 anywhere in India. For orders below the explained limit, shipping cost will be charged based on location zones determined by Biker's Pad. There could be a shipping surcharge added for heavy and large products.
All orders received before 1 pm are usually shipped the same day. For all orders received post 1 pm, shipping is usually carried out the next day. We use multiple delivery partners depending on location and type of product to optimise product delivery to you.
In most instances, depending on location, we offer customers a choice of Regular Shipping and Express Shipping with timelines and cost mentioned for both the types. Product delivery is usually completed within the timelines notified, unless the delivery location is not widely serviced by national courier agencies or due to some unforeseen reason/ natural calamity. Customers should consider the provided delivery timelines after accounting for the order processing time.
RETURNS POLICY
Biker's Pad allows a 7-day conditional returns policy. The Customer will have to inform Biker's Pad support team on support@bikerspad.com or on our official whatsapp channel (Mob no 7738835000) explaining the reason. Returns are approved only if the product received by the customer is found to be damaged during transit, has a manufacturing defective or a wrong product was received. Customer is required to explain the issue along with images to prove their reason for returns. In case a return is approved, shipping charges to Biker's Pad warehouse will be re-imbursed. Refunds, if any related to product returns and shipping reimbursement will only be in the form of Store Credit which can be used for alternate purchase on Biker's Pad platform.
